"You can't kill me -- I'm already dead"

By William Markiewicz

I ask myself a question which should preoccupy any military: can terror be defeated? I saw a film in which a couple of ghouls kill for vengeance. The murderer says to the hero who is fighting him: “You can’t kill me, I’m already dead.” A TV program about the possibility of an Alien invasion discussed the role brigades of suiciders would have in defeating them. In Iran, Afghanistan, suicide bombers, not numerous enough, couldn’t play a decisive victorious role. The USA is a different story; immense enough to take in invisible killers ready to die and to cause immense harm beforehand. Their final goal may be to paralyse any collective activities in a dynamic country. Could they become numerous enough to achieve it?...
